A world first: Track Piler

Short shutdown times, demanding geographical conditions and tight spaces – railway engineering is a challenging area for the use of specialist foundation engineering technology. Powerful new developments expand the range of possibilities.

Flexible configuration

In collaboration with the company Techne, we have developed what we call a track piler – a track-bound drilling rig and pile driver. Like a standard RG pile driver, it is also possible to attach various types of equipment to this innovative machine for different drilling and pile driving methods. The hydraulics and control system of the track piler are prepared for a wide range of additional attachments such as KDK 200 rotary drives, MR vibrators, HRS hydraulic hammers, MRZ and MRU sheet pile presses.

All common methods

The drilling and soil improvement methods of CGA, FoW, CSM mixing and VIPAC vibrated stone columns can be executed without a problem using this equipment. With the fully wireless remote control, all functions and precise control of the machine are provided. Assembly can be carried out without auxiliary equipment if there is an existing overhead line.

Optimal conditions for use

The machine is characterized particularly by its rapid assembly and dismantling, large outreach and high torque. During operation, it is ensured that adjacent tracks are not negatively impacted.
