Vibration methods

Overview of our vibration methods

Vibrohammer

Vibration driving of piling material with continuously adjustable, high frequency vibrators is one of the main applications of RTGmachines. Wall construction involves vibration driving of sheet pile wall profiles, trench sheets or king piles (which are then removed in the case of temporary measures).

Displacement pile driving (with vibrator)

Driven displacement piles are used as load-bearing elements or soil improvement measures. After vibrating in a steel pipe, the pipe is backfilled with gravel or concrete. The vibration energy applied when pulling the pipe has a compacting effect on the gravel column.

Slim cut-off wall method

Slim walls are constructed as cut-off walls. In the process, a steel beam is driven with an oscillating vibrator. The beam profile creates a narrow trench that is filled with slurry when pulling the beam. Overlapping installation of the beam creates a continuous cut-off wall.

Depth vibrator

On TR depth vibrations, a hydraulically powered vibration cell is installed in the base of the retractable pipe. This displaces the soil at the vibrator base using horizontal vibrations. Accordingly, compacted columns are installed as soil improvement elements. Sand, stone or concrete are added depending on the subsoil condition. This results in stone columns or Vibro Concrete Columns.
